St Solo will provide written estimates for your approval before any costs are incurred. Our estimates include all details of the project to be undertaken. If the project is to be completed over a long period, we require a 33% deposit, and may issue interim billing at certain milestones during the project. These terms are negotiated and agreed upon before we begin your project. Upon project completion, invoices are issued within 10 days, with full payment expected within 30 days.
St Solo uses industry-standard software and hardware production tools. We have both Macintosh and IBM PC-compatible machines, and are expert on both platforms. The programs we use include Dreamweaver 4, Fireworks 4, Homesite 4.5, BBEdit, LiveMotion, Lightwave, VR ObjectWorx, QuarkXpress 4.1, PhotoShop 6, ImageReady, Illustrator 10, and Director 8, along with many others. We routinely use the World Wide Web and the tools it provides. We provide print proofs using standards such as Adobe’s PDF (Portable Document Format). Alternatively, if you wish, your own private viewing area can be set up on our website, complete with password protection. This ensures quick and accurate proof checking throughout your project. St Solo does your website development on our own server, and can offer you password-protected monitoring.
