Internet Fax Services

Special FX is a Saskatoon based company that has developed an internet based fax service. This innovative service improves effectiveness in communications, reduces costs and saves significant staff time for every person who sends or receives fax messages.

‘Fax at my desk’ is an innovative suite of services that fully and effectively integrate the worlds of fax and e-mail. It is not important which of these technologies is the best, or why one person uses e-mail while others use fax; it is only important that users of either technology can communicate transparently with those who use the other.

Computer-based users address and submit messages to Special FX using a standard web Browser. Special FX then delivers these messages to the intended fax address(es) and reports the results to the sender.

Fax customers simply send a message to the fax number of a Special FX customer just as they would to any other fax number. Special FX receives the fax message and forwards it as an attachment in ‘pdf’ format to the customer’s e-mail address. The Customer then uses Adobe Acrobat Reader (free software) to view and/or print the fax.

The result - fast, cost effective bi-directional communications between users of fax and users of e-mail.
