Sask Pork
 

Through communications programming, public policy development and industry and swine research, Sask Pork works on behalf of Saskatchewan pork producers to ensure the sustainability of the pork industry within a diverse provincial agricultural economy. In fulfilling their mandate, communicating with the public is a high priority.

Sask Pork was established in April 1998 to lead and provide industry programs and services for Saskatchewan pork producers. Governed by a Board of Directors, Sask Pork delivers a variety of provincial and national programs and services to pork producers province-wide which include: Industry Development, Communications and Promotions, the Canadian Quality Assurance™ Program, Environmental Management as well as Research and Development. Six full-time and one part-time staff carry out the delivery of these operations for the organization.
