Providing Excellence In Continuing Education

The goal of Education Initiatives Canada Inc. is to provide skill enhancing seminars for Massage Therapists to review and augment their abilities. The main focus of the continuing education they offer is a "back to basics" approach to aid current Massage Therapists in developing, maintaining, and improving primary knowledge and skills. Current "state of the art" information and clinical instruction with "hands on" practice time is provided.

Donelda Gowan-Moody the head instructor and the President of E.I.C. She has an excellent reputation in her field as both an educator and a clinician. Donelda graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Sutton Ontario in 1987 and the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in 1996. She has maintained a thriving private practice and has taught massage theory and practical classes at the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy in Saskatoon. She is a also a member of the Saskatchewan Training and Development Association, the IN CAM research network, and serves as a committee member for the CMTARN. Currently she is pursuing a Masters Degree in Adult and Continuing Education.
